The Engineering Services department is responsible for capital project planning, design standards, review, tendering, construction, inspection and asset management of the Town of Newmarket's linear infrastructure.
Engineering services also provides engineering and project management support, as well as drafting and mapping services to all Town Departments. This department also provides technical engineering advice and analysis, engineering designs, land surveys, inspections and infrastructure planning as well as construction management services on public improvement projects and traffic management.
Engineering Design Standards
The Town of Newmarket Engineering Design Standards are used by staff, engineering consultants and contractors when designing and constructing the Town's linear infrastructure. View the Newmarket Engineering Design Standards and Criteria manual for more information on the Town's standards.
