The Town of Newmarket provides Annual Water Quality Reports as part of the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002.
Under the Ontario Drinking Water Systems regulation (0.Reg. 170/03), municipalities who maintain drinking water systems are required to prepare an annual report on the operation of the water system and the quality of its water. Water Quality Reports are required to be submitted to the Ministry of Environment Conservation and Parks no later than February 28 of the following calendar year. 2023 Annual Water Quality Report
The 2023 Annual Water Quality Summary Report is now available to view online. This report contains information necessary to satisfy the annual reporting requirements stipulated within the Ontario Safe Drinking Act, 2002 and its associated regulations.
