  • June is a month of community, culture, events and celebrations in Newmarket

    Created: Friday, May 30, 2025
The Town of Newmarket is recognizing all the ways that we can embrace individuality, celebrate culture and encourage movement in June. Throughout the month, the Town is offering many activities and in-person events to honour unique Indigenous histories, recognize the contributions of seniors and continue to build a community that is inclusive and accessible for everyone.

“This month is an opportunity to reflect on what makes our community so vibrant and welcoming,” says Mayor John Taylor. “Newmarket is shaped by every person here, and these recognitions are a reminder of how much we all contribute to make our Town one of the best places to live in Canada. I invite everyone to join us for the many celebrations and activities throughout June.”
