Wee Fun Wednesdays for Tots and Caregivers

Drop in programs for Tots and Caregivers will stimulate communication, cooperation, imagination and make new friends! Stop in for crafts and finish up by seeing one of our many displays! Join us for a different theme each Wednesday!

Museum Downtown Scavenger Hunt Challenge

The Museum has created a Downtown Newmarket Scavenger Hunt. A challenging yet fun and exciting way for families to explore downtown Newmarket. Pick up the hunt at the Museum, find all the answers and submit it to be entered to win a Prize Package. Winner will be announced in September.   

Artwork Challenge Scavenger Hunt

Looking for a free and challenging activity to try this summer? Drop into the Elman W. Campbell Museum on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday in August. Discover some weird, colourful and awesome art pieces with our artwork challenge scavenger hunt! Have fun with tabletop activities. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Suitable for ages 4 to 10. Adult supervision required.
Admission for all programs $5/child. 

Participants will develop their creativity and motor skills and enjoy some fun activities making unique crafts. Finish with a themed scavenger hunt and tabletop activities.

Paper Plate Weaving

Saturday, August 10, 2024 | 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 

Participants will learn how to turn a paper plate into a colourful, woven piece of art.

Garden Wind Chimes

Saturday, August 17, 2024 | 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 

Be ready to get messy using a sponge painting technique to paint flowerpots, and hand-string beads to create your own colourful wind chime.
