The Elman W. Campbell Museum is located in the historic Main Street district and is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history and tradition of the community, as the museum has a collection of many artifacts specific to Newmarket. Gorman Outdoor Pool

The Gorman Pool is a seasonal facility - a favourite among residents for open air swimming in the summer.  The Gorman Pool is an outdoor heated pool and a popular summer facility open from the end of June until the beginning of September. It is a graduated depth pool to a maximum of five feet.

Magna Centre

The Magna Centre is a state-of the art recreation complex and is one of the most significant and exciting initiatives in the Town's history. This new complex is the largest in Newmarket and features an Olympic-sized and three NHL-sizes arenas, a 25-metre community pool and 21-metre learning pool, a Fitness Centre and Studio, a full-sized gymnasium and walking track and three multi-purpose rooms. It is indeed an extraordinary complex for a community striving to be well beyond the ordinary.

Old Town Hall

The Old Town Hall has a theatre style auditorium, banquet hall and a board room available for rental. The Old Town Hall is a popular location for local arts and culture groups and is currently home to a large amateur theatre group. Directly across the street from the Old Town Hall is Market Square, an open community meeting place and celebration location.

Newmarket Community Centre and Lions Hall

Newmarket Community Centre and Lions Hall holds a variety of Town programs in the halls and rooms located in the community centre.  These halls and rooms are also available for rent for banquets, parties and meetings.

Newmarket Riverwalk Commons

The Newmarket Riverwalk Commons outside the Newmarket Community Centre and Lions Hall is home to an outdoor stage during the summer season and the Ice Lounge sponsored by Mercedez-Benz Newmarket during the winter season. Beside the outdoor stage is the Mercedes-Benz Newmarket Skating and Water feature which is a skating rink in the winter and a water feature open to the public in the summer.

Newmarket Public Library

The Newmarket Public Library features a collection of over 175,000 items - including bestsellers, magazines, audio books, DVDs, language kits and materials for individuals with special needs. The library has a children's services department, and offers a wide-range of fun and unique programs for children of all ages, and adults too (such as the popular Jane Austen Book Club).

Newmarket Seniors' Meeting Place

The Newmarket Seniors' Meeting Place has a welcome reception area, a large craft centre, a woodworking shop, an elaborate games room, a computer room with internet access, a health service room, a comfortable library and lounge, and much more. The thriving membership and variety of activities, numerous clubs, special events, dances and entertainment for seniors in Newmarket make this facility a destination of choice amongst the senior community. NewRoads Performing Arts Centre

The NewRoads Performing Arts Centre is adjacent to Newmarket High School, and is available for rentals, fundraising events, seminars, theatrical productions, rallies and meetings. This state-of-the-art 400-seat theatre attracts top talent and productions to Newmarket, and is the performance home to many local arts and culture groups.

Ray Twinney Recreation Complex

The Ray Twinney Recreation Complex is a popular recreation facility that features two arenas, a large indoor pool, all with spectator seating, and change room facilities. The complex is also home of the ​​​Newmarket Stingrays, a top rated competitive swim club. Several lounges and rooms are available for rental for banquets, parties and meetings, and throughout the year a number of seasonal and high profile special events take place at the complex.

The Ray Twinney Recreation Complex is surrounded by a football field, a number of soccer pitches and baseball diamonds. Summer weekends are filled with both competitive and friendly tournaments.

Newmarket Recreation Youth Centre & Sk8 Park

The Recreation Youth Centre is open year-round and provides social and recreational programs to youth and their families, with focus on youth ages 12 to 17, but with opportunities for children under 12 and young adults 18+. The Recreation Youth Centre features a unique 10,000 sq. ft. indoor skateboard park that provides classes and clinics for all levels of abilities, special events and special times for younger skaters and bladers. Other features include a full size gymnasium, a games room, a computer lab, a comfortable music lounge, a fitness area, excellent workshops, leisure activities, drop in classes, special events, dances and much, much more! The Recreation Youth Centre also provides lots of opportunity for volunteering including co-op, high school service hours, and college/university placements.

Rogers Spray Pad

The Rogers Spray Pad, one of the first spray pads in Newmarket and previously known as the Rogers Wading Pool, was redesigned and reconstructed after an expressed need for a spray pad in Newmarket.

Address: 170 London Road (behind the Canadian Martyrs Catholic School) , please note the spray pad is also accessible at 129 Harrison Drive, and adjacent to 226 Yorkshire Drive.
