Culture Days 2025_Call For Registration Web Buttons.png

Entries Open as of: Wednesday, May 28, 2025, 7:59 am EST

Completed applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Friday June 30, 2025, EST. for an activation to be considered. Participants are encouraged to apply early as available spots may fill before the deadline closes.

Activities must meet the Culture Days eligibility criteria, including being unique, and free or accepting pay-what-you-can donations. Activities must also increase awareness of the arts and offer the community the opportunity to engage in an art / activation / engagement form. The selection committee will review the proposals and weigh them against these criteria.

Artists, makers, and professionals/organizations in the cultural industries are invited to submit a proposal for community engaged activations that will take place during the 14th Anniversary 2025 Newmarket Culture Days celebration with the intention of animating the downtown cultural core district – creating a hub for residents to experience culturally curated FREE or pay what you can experiences.

Submissions must focus on the theme of 'Transcending Cultural Boundaries through Family Connections.'

Explore the meaning of family, transcending boundaries, enhancing cultural identities, and share in a deeper cultural understanding of belonging through arts and culture with a journey to family as the connective medium.
